A
premium international brand sold in over
60 countries, Strongbow is a cider originally
sold in British pubs. A medium-alcohol (5°)
cider made from special cider apples, it's
a lively, sparkling, thirst-quenching drink.
The name Strongbow was originally bestowed on Richard de Clare,
a knight in William the Conquerer's court who was famous for
his skill in archery.
The brand has grown rapidly and is now sold in over 60 countries.
Strongbow is the most-drunk cider in Britain, and annual production
is around 4 million hectolitres. Brasseries Kronenbourg have
been selling Strongbow in the on-trade market since 1 July 2000
and the brand is proving to be a major hit with cider-drinkers.
